This afternoon we had the first meeting of the Trustees of the Religious Studies Project Association (that’s the name of the Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation that produces the RSP). Besides Chris Cotter and myself (David Robertson), the Trustees are Carole Cusack (Sydney), Russell McCutcheon (Alabama) and Dominic Corrywright (Oxford Brooks), so getting them all in the same virtual room was quite a feat. You could feel the sheer weight of reputation physically, like a tiny black hole.

We aim to be completely transparent, so we will be posting the minutes and financial statement here in due course. For now, I can tell you that we discussed our current financial situation (OK, but still precarious), improving our diversity and international representation, changes to organisation and the editorial team, projects for 2018-19 (including a full website redesign) and ideas for beyond that…

I personally want to thank the Trustees, for their help in the past, and to come. We’ll be back in September. Until then, thanks to you all for listening.
