Darrius Hills is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. His research addresses various articulations of African American religious thought, theology, womanist religious thought, philosophy of religion, American religious culture(s), and Black Male Studies. Currently, Dr. Hills is working on his first book monograph, tentatively titled Black Religious Thought and Black Male Identity.
Dr. Hills was recently selected one of ten junior religion scholars nation-wide as part of the 2020-2022 cohort of the Young Scholars in American Religion program.
